Q. When do I get paid?

A. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments in arrears the day before the last working day of each month. (i.e. pay day in May 2025 is on the 29th, the day before the last working day of the month, Friday the 30th)

Q. How can I view my payslip?

A. You can find your payslips online via https://ciqss.co.uk/MACM/?ReturnUrl=%2fmacm. New starters will be sent 3 x login invitation emails from [email protected] towards the end of the month.

If you have forgotten your login details, please contact [email protected] and the Macmillan Finance Team who manage our payroll  will be able to help you retrieve them.

Q. Who do I speak to if I have a query about my pay?

A. It's important to check your payslips each month and if you see something that doesn't look right, please contact  [email protected], copying Yasmin Chowdhury in the HR team as soon as possible. If your query relates to tax or National Insurance, contact the HMRC directly as these elements are not controlled by Digital Science and we cannot speak to them on your behalf. You can contact the HMRC on 0300 200 3300. You can also create an online account by visiting  https://www.gov.uk/personal-tax-account/set-up . You will need a Government Gateway Account to register, as well as our NI number and a form of identification.

Q. How do I claim back expenses?

A. All expenses need to be claimed back via Concur. Find out how to use Concur and check the expense policy here. Remember to keep all receipts when claiming back as proof of purchase of your expense.
