Our Employee Referral Programme is designed to reward you for introducing talented individuals to Digital Science. We value your network, and if your referral leads to a successful hire, you’ll be financially rewarded, provided the terms below are met.
Eligibility to Refer
Open to all current employees of Digital Science.
Employees must not be involved in the hiring decision or process for the referred candidate (e.g., hiring manager, interviewer, etc.).
Only current employees are eligible for payment. If you leave the business before the payment date, the bonus is forfeited.

Employees will be ineligible to receive a referral bonus if they are:
Serving their notice period after submitting a formal resignation.
On notice of termination from the company, whether with or without cause.
Actively involved in a redundancy consultation or other formal exit process.
Formally placed under a performance improvement plan or review due to underperformance or behavioral concerns.
Referral Reward

A £2000 bonus (or local currency equivalent) will be paid for each successful referral. This amount is valid until 31st Dec 2025.
The referred candidate must:Apply using a unique Pinpoint referral link, and
Complete three full months of continuous, satisfactory employment.
Bonuses will be paid in the payroll cycle following the successful completion of three months.
Payments are made via payroll and subject to tax and statutory deductions.
The cost of the bonus is funded by the hiring department.
Referral Process
Log into your Employee Dashboard on Pinpoint.
Go to ‘My Referrals’ and copy your unique referral link.
Share the link with your contact. They must apply through this link to ensure tracking.
Once they apply, their application will go through our standard recruitment process.
If multiple employees refer the same candidate, the bonus will go to the employee whose link was used to submit the application first. The People Team’s decision is final in disputes.
Ineligible Referrals
Candidates who have applied directly or been active in our recruitment process within the past 6 months.
Individuals currently working with Digital Science in a contractor, intern, or temporary capacity.
Contractor-to-perm conversions are not eligible unless the contractor was referred prior to their first engagement with us.
Immediate family members or individuals with whom the referring employee has a close personal relationship (e.g., spouse, partner, sibling) must be disclosed and are subject to approval by the People Team.
Any referrals involving bonus-sharing or manipulation of the process will result in disqualification.
Important Rules
You may not influence the recruitment process in any way for your referral.
This scheme is intended to enhance our hiring quality. Misuse, spamming, or abuse of the programme may result in disqualification.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I refer someone for a role in another country?
Yes, the programme is global. Just use your Pinpoint link and follow the same process.
Can I refer someone I’ve previously worked with?
Yes, but only if there’s no conflict of interest or commercial arrangement in place.
Can I refer someone to a team I manage?
No. You cannot refer anyone into a role or team where you’re directly involved in the recruitment or management process.
What happens if my referral leaves before three months?
No payment will be made if the referral leaves before 3 months.
How are payments made?
Payments are made by regional People Partner in payroll and are subject to normal payroll deductions.
When are payments made?
The payments are made in the payroll following the successful completion of three months employment with us.
Who pays for the referral fee?
The referral bonus is paid for by the function who has the vacancy.
Compliance
We reserve the right to audit referrals and withhold bonuses where the policy has been breached. This programme may be amended or discontinued at the company’s discretion.
