Accident Insurance

  • A taxable lump-sum of 1-time annual salary in case of death

  • A taxable lump-sum of 2 times annual salary in case of disability

Disability Insurance

Short Term

  • First year of sickness: Employer continues to pay 100% of base income including holiday allowance

  • Second year of sickness: Employer pays 70% of base income including holiday allowance.

  • Cover is limited to a salary of Euro 110,000.

Long Term

  • A WIA-gap insurance (WGA-hiaat uitgebreid) for income below € 57,232 (2020), complementing social security up to 70% level.

  • A WIA excess disability cover which covers 70% of income exceeding € 57.232 (2020). 

  • Both Gap and Excess pay out until state retirement age
